The pins in situ with their caps from 0.5mm styrene in place and in the unlocked position.

A 0.5mm piece of black styrene was cut to shape and glued to the main deck to simulate the recesses that the pins would be able to drop into on the prototype when a clear deck is required. The circles in the narrower part are where the 'shark-jaw' would rise (a device to clamp a cable).
