AHTS Hull Build

The rudder posts get to be used as datum points, so the instructions recommend using a wooden jig to hold them vertical while the bearings are glued to the inside of the hull. My hull turned out not to be flat along its length - it could rest on the forward part or the rear part with the keel extension. Which to use?

By skilfull engineering ... no, I lie, it was just a happy chance, the block of wood I'd got to hold the rudder posts in was just the right thickness to hold the hull about midway between the two positions it could have sat. So I went with that.
