HO Locomotives <<-- Previous   index   Next -->> P2k SW1200 sound 7 The speaker (3/4" with enclosure from Tony's Train Exchange) is glued under the radiator grille. The existing 1.5V bulb is used for the light (to keep heat down), and the 12V to this from the decoder is dropped using 2 x 82 Ohm resistors (160 Ohms total) seen just to the left of the speaker. The enclosure is a close fit in the shell and I had to file slots in it to get the resistor leads to pass.
