Also from a ST&D kit this is basically the hot metal car without the ladle. As with the hot metal cars the couplers and trucks have been changed for Kadees. Built as the instructions the car would be very light, so I added stips of lead to get the weight up - I've imagined that the mill would have plonked some steel slabs on the cars for the same purpose. I have two of these.
