Peco turnouts

The turnout is then held over the holes and the wires guided into position. The whole lot is then lowered onto the board and checked for alignment. When OK, pencil marks are made around the turnout to guide the gluing process.
The turnout is removed, glue is applied to the board (avoiding the area near the tiebar), and the turnout installed onto the glue.
Once alignment is checked and excess glue removed, a flat plate is placed over the turnout and weights added until the glue has set.
