One of those large layouts that are mostly scenery, this is a famous location on the Settle & Carlisle railway. Not clear in the picture is the significant gradient from right (low) to left. The freight train is standing at a signal marking the change from 4 to 2 tracks, awaiting the passing of a passenger train. |
