Nottingham Show 2006 <<-- Previous   index   Next -->> Fraser Mills 2 (Cdn, H0) The train barge is actually loaded with cars and moves away acroos the lake so it hides behind the outcrop visibale at the left. It then returns and the cars are offloaded and replaced with new ones. Repeat at regular intervals! We saw the operator preparing the barge when we arrived, soon after opening, but did not take a photo at that time. It runs on rails on the lake bed and the tug is stuck on the side of it. I assumed there would be a sheet of plastic or suchlike to act as a water surface, but on returning later found the lake had been filled with real (brown) water as seen here. 11(35) Copyright Mike Sheridan, 2006 Created with Web Picture Creator 1.50
