This is a lovely model, marred only by the use of 'lockpick' uncouplers needing the regular presence of the aforementioned hands of god. The use of small overhead electrics to work the colliery is a great variant.
The only minus point is that it is pretty much U-shaped with the mouth toward the audience, but because of the barriers running straight across we could not enter the U, as seen here. This meant that much of the layout was 5-6 feet away making it hard to see in any detail.
