This is a closer view of a support, but for the other cover to that seen in 7. The function is basically the same but the layout a little different. The thin pull-up line (centre) is supported separately and below the main support because it has to go under the main joist visible in the background.
The double rope fixing is visible and two tie-wraps have been added to the cleat to make certain the nylon rope stays wrapped.
The main rope is 6mm with a working load of about 100kg (the load in this application is about 7kg). The ropes and pulleys were purchased from internet sailing suppliers.
